A microshear bond strength analysis in J Endod demonstrated PCC/KNO3 achieved 13.2±1.5 MPa versus 9.1±1.2 MPa for MTA at 24 hours, representing a 45% increase regardless of adhesive strategy. This suggests PCC/KNO3 as a viable alternative to MTA for immediate restoration in vital pulp therapy.
