Finland-based Planmeca has enabled its Emerald intraoral scanner to export scans directly for Orthocaps clear aligner fabrication, streamlining the orthodontic workflow by eliminating intermediary steps. Clinically, it accelerates treatment planning and improves patient throughput. Available in India through authorized distributors. Estimated scanner cost: ₹4–5 lakhs, plus aligner production fees per case.
