DHA mandates 6-month internship and exam for 2026 dental licenses

The Dubai Health Authority has overhauled its dental licensing framework effective 1 March 2026. New requirements include completion of a 6-month supervised internship, passing a DHA licensing exam, and undergoing regular compliance audits. International dentists, including Indian BDS graduates, must apply under the revised fee schedule, fulfill internship logs, clear the exam, and maintain audit documentation.
