Dubai Health Authority mandates 6-month internship and licensing exam from March 2026

Effective 1 March 2026, the DHA has overhauled its dental licensing framework, requiring all applicants to complete a six-month UAE-based internship, pass a DHA-administered licensing exam, and submit to regular practice audits. Indian BDS graduates must update their applications per the new fee schedule and provide internship completion certificates and audit records to secure registration.
