Piston Technique with Calcium Silicate Sealer for Immature Molar Obturation
This modified obturation protocol uses a piston condensation technique combined with a calcium silicate–based sealer to manage immature necrotic mandibular second molars. It creates a dense apical seal and leverages the sealer’s bioactivity to encourage periapical healing. Applicable in endodontics for teeth with open apices, it offers improved sealing and simplified delivery.
