Dubai Health Authority revises dental licensing framework effective March 2026
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has updated its dental licensing framework, taking effect on 1 March 2026. The new rules require a 6‑month internship, a mandatory licensing exam, and ongoing audit records to ensure compliance. Indian BDS graduates planning to practice in the UAE must complete the internship, pass the exam, and keep audit documentation. Updated application forms and fee schedules are now available on the DHA portal.
