Combined EPP and CTG Wall Approach for Distal Papilla Reconstruction
The combined enamel matrix derivative (EPP) and connective tissue graft (CTG) wall approach reconstructs the distal papilla in noncontained intrabony defects. By placing EPP to stimulate periodontal regeneration and CTG to provide soft tissue volume, the technique restores papillary architecture, improves aesthetics, and reduces recession. It is indicated for periodontal defects requiring papilla reconstruction and is applicable in periodontal regenerative procedures.
