CDSCO 2026 New Drug Approvals for Dentistry Published

In its latest update, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation has listed the 2026 approvals of new drugs specifically relevant to dental practice. The list includes several antibiotics, local anesthetics and antiviral medications that are now approved for use in India. These approvals expand the therapeutic arsenal for dentists, allowing them to adopt newer agents for infection control, pain management and antiviral prophylaxis in clinical settings.
