CDSCO Releases 2026 Dental Antibiotics, Anesthetics, Antivirals List

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has published its 2026 list of newly approved drugs for dental use, comprising a range of antibiotics, local anesthetics and antiviral agents. These drugs are now available in India and can be incorporated into routine dental procedures such as prophylactic antibiotic regimens, local anesthesia for extractions and antiviral prophylaxis in patients with viral infections.
