Associate Dentist — Miners Dental Clinic, Wonthaggi (VIC) Miners' Dental Clinic has looked after the Wonthaggi and Bass Coast community for over 100 years. That longevity isn't an accident — it comes from doing good, honest dentistry, treating patients (many of them across generations) like neighbours, and looking after the clinicians who work here. We're looking for a dentist who wants to practise that kind of dentistry, and who wants to grow. A clinic equipped to let you do more, not less. This is a properly resourced practice for a clinician with ambition. Weekly general anaesthetic lists in a fully equipped theatre let you take on cases many clinics refer away. There's a complete surgical setup — PRF for surgical and implant work, piezosurgery, and CBCT for planning — with major implant systems held on consignment, so you work across leading systems rather than being locked to one. The workflow is fully digital (CEREC, TRIOS, and a dedicated denture scanner) with rotary endodontics throughout. Whatever you want to take on clinically, the tools and the support are already here. We genuinely mentor. Our Principal, Dr Vandana Budhwar, and the clinical team support you to extend your scope — into surgical, implant and full-arch work — at a pace that suits you, backed by our lab and our full-arch program. We also run regular group and team events, because we think a practice should be a community, not just a roster. A coastal life, closer than you'd expect. Wonthaggi puts the beaches of Inverloch, Cape Paterson and Phillip Island on your doorstep, while sitting only about 60–75 minutes from Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs. It's a place to settle into, not commute to. Relocation support is available, and we are open to employer sponsorship for the right overseas-trained dentist, given the regional location. You'll join an established practice with full books from day one and a loyal, appreciative patient base, supported by a well-organised, well-trained team and a dedicated team room.
