As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dental professionals and ensuring a smooth experience for patients. Your main tasks will include:

- **Sterilizing Instruments**: Clean and sterilize dental tools and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff.
- **Managing Patient Records**: Keep accurate and organized patient records, including treatment history and appointments, to help track patient progress and facilitate communication.
- **Dental Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure that all dental equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the dentist or office manager.
- **Preparing Treatment Rooms**: Set up treatment rooms before patient appointments and clean them afterward to ensure they are ready for the next patient.
- **Providing Patient Education**: Help educate patients about oral hygiene and care procedures to support their overall dental health.
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a Diploma in Dental Assisting or a related field. Ideally, you will have 1 to 6 years of experience in a dental office setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for dealing with patients and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene are also crucial. You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling various dental tools and technologies.
