Bank Emergency Dental Nurse -
We are looking for caring professional dental nurses to join the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust based Emergency Dental Service . The Emergency Dental Service provides high quality dental care and oral health advice to the population of Cumbria.
Vacancies have arisen for Bank Dental Nurses to support our Emergency Dental Clinics based at Carlisle Dental Education Centre and West Cumberland Hospital. These posts are offered on a bank contract basis to provide flexible cover and are dependent on service need.
The Emergency Dental Clinics operate on the following session;
Carlisle Dental Education Centre
Monday to Friday 18:00-22:00
Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays 09:00-13:00 / 13:30-17:30 / 18:00-22:00*
West Cumberland Hospital
Friday 18:00-22:00
Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays 09:00-13:00 / 13:30-17:30 / 18:00-22:00*
*Each session is 4 hours in duration. Staff may work up to two sessions (maximum 8 hours) within a single day however, staff are not permitted to work all three sessions on the same day.
The successful applicants must hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing, NEBDN or equivalent qualification, and be fully registered with the GDC to apply for this post.
