GDC updates CPD requirements for UK dentists

The General Dental Council (GDC) has updated its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for UK dentists, effective 1 January 2026. Dentists must complete 150 hours of CPD every 5 years. The GDC will monitor compliance and may take disciplinary action if dentists fail to meet the requirements.
