Autologous dentin grafts outperform bone in maxillary atrophy

A split-mouth study in PubMed showed that autologous dentine-derived grafts processed by the Tooth Transformer significantly outperformed heterologous bone in new bone formation for maxillary atrophy. This highlights dentine as a promising, safe regenerative biomaterial that BDS dentists can consider for ridge augmentation procedures.
